From Denver
From the Denver metro, make your way to US Highway 285 heading southwest (many routes connect through C-470 or Hampden Avenue). Continue on 285 toward Platte Canyon and Bailey, using a current mapping service for the route and travel time. Before departure, review COtrip for current highway conditions, closures, cameras, and active restrictions.
The final stretch
The public website does not publish the property's precise location.
Once a future stay is confirmed, guests will receive door-to-door directions, entry details, and owner-approved access guidance.
Notes for the mountain drive
- Follow the confirmed guest route. Once provided, use the owner's arrival route and avoid mapping-app shortcuts onto unapproved county or Forest Service roads.
- Plan for changing reception. Save your public route or an offline map before entering mountain corridors, where mobile coverage can vary.
- Check current winter conditions. Review official road, weather, and closure information before departure. CDOT can activate traction or chain restrictions on any state highway when conditions warrant; check the current CDOT requirements. Property-specific vehicle guidance is not yet approved and will be included in confirmed guest directions.
- Expect maintenance to vary. State highways, county roads, Forest Service roads, private roads, and the property driveway can have different maintenance and snow-removal schedules.
- Watch for wildlife. Animals can enter mountain roads unexpectedly. Follow posted speeds and use extra care on curves and in low visibility.
- Fuel and groceries. Choose supply stops using your confirmed route and current opening information.
Planning drive times
Property-specific drive times have not been owner-verified yet because the private origin and final approach are not stored in the public site. Future planning ranges will identify the route and assume dry roads with no active incident, construction, closure, restriction, event traffic, or severe weather. They will remain estimates: weather, traffic, road work, and seasonal closures can materially change mountain travel times.
